Mission and vision

Why are we here?

Because we have turned our passion for taste into a mission. And our mission is to create that authentic and original experience which only quality ingredients and striving for excellence can offer.

Because we have contributed to the growth of the food industry in Romania, ever since 1995. Rather than just being a supplier, we have become a partner of our customers, offering know-how, recipes, customized solutions, technological support and assistance.

Because we have been working with our customers for 25 years, we have got both national and international experience, and a close-knit and passionate team. Because it is the details that make the difference.

Evolution

1995

We established the company as a Supplier of raw materials for the Food Industry

1996

We created the first ranges and custom structures for each domain of the food industry.

1998

We entered into a partnership with Backaldrin® Austria, becoming the representative in Romania for the supply of ingredients for bakery, pastry, and confectionery.

2005

We inaugurated the new central headquarters of Expertarom: 11,000 sqm, comprising production units, research and development laboratories, quality control laboratories, storage spaces, refrigeration and freezing warehouses, offices, and an amphitheater for seminars.

2010

Cremolinea, the new brand dedicated to artisanal gelato and confectionery, was launched.

2014-2017

We increased our production capacities, reaching 4 units where ingredients for gelato, fillings and fruit preparations, chocolate creams and glazes, and powdered mixtures are produced.

Present

We are suppliers of ingredients in over 60 countries and have started the construction of a new production unit and the expansion of storage spaces and research and application laboratories.

The goal we set 25 years ago, when we laid the foundation of Expertarom, was to become more than just a supplier and to forge long-lasting partnerships with our customers.

This is why we have been continuously developing solutions and innovations for each branch, why we have grown and built a competent and dedicated team.

Today our team is made up of almost 300 colleagues and, alongside our customers and partners, we continue to grow organically as we work hard every day to reach and maintain our ultimate goal: being the absolute best!
